Monet and Hot Air Ballooning

Join us on Saturday, July 19 at 4:30PM for a lecture followed by rides in a tethered hot air balloon, framed through the eyes of Monet! Rides will be contextualized in relation to the museum’s distinguished collection of Impressionist paintings and by way of a public conversation with Professor Carol Armstrong about how ballooning impacted Monet’s art.
