Description
Please join us on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 6PM for a public conversation with Professor André Dombrowski about his new book 'Monet’s Minutes: Impressionism and the Industrialization of Time'.
Dombrowski is Frances Shapiro-Weitzenhoffer Professor of 19th Century European Art at the University of Pennsylvania and a leading authority on French Impressionism.
The event will begin with a short presentation by the author followed by a public conversation between him and Oliver O’Donnell, Hill-Stead’s Resident Art Historian.
Questions from the audience will be welcomed at the end and the evening will conclude with a reception of wine and cheese.
Copies of the book will also be for sale at Hill-Stead Museum’s shop.
