Join us for a transformative Chakra Healing & Balancing event with Fred Maerkle , designed to help you reconnect with your inner energy and restore harmony to your body, mind, and spirit. This immersive experience will guide you through the powerful ancient practice of chakra alignment, which focuses on balancing the seven main energy centers of the body—known as chakras—responsible for emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕:

- Breathwork and Visualization: Learn breathing techniques and visualization exercises that align your energy flow, creating a sense of peace, vitality, and connection with your higher self.

- Guided Meditation: Relax into a serene state with a deep, calming meditation focused on each of the seven chakras, helping to clear blocked energy and restore balance.

- Sound Healing: Experience the vibrational frequencies of crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, and other instruments tuned to the specific frequencies of each chakra, aiding in releasing stagnant energy.

Benefits of Chakra Balancing:

-Increased emotional and physical well-being

-Stress and anxiety relief

-Greater clarity, focus, and inner peace

-Enhanced energy flow and vitality

-Improved connection to intuition and self-awareness

Whether you're new to chakra work or looking to deepen your existing practice, this event offers a nurturing and supportive environment to promote holistic healing and self-discovery. All are welcome—no prior experience is necessary.

Come with an open heart and leave feeling rejuvenated, balanced, and aligned.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈: yoga mat, blanket, pillow, bolster, and anything else you would need to make yourself comfortable lying down. Some blankets and yoga mats available to borrow.

Goddess Yoga

A 6 week introduction to Kundalini Style Yoga

Hosted by Alison L Carlson, Nurse Practitioner and Certified Lifestyle Medicine Provider

Kundalini yoga is a spiritual practice that involves breathing, chanting, meditation, and poses to awaken the kundalini energy.

How is kundalini yoga practiced?

  • Kundalini yoga classes often include sets with different poses, breathing techniques, and mantras

The Lewis Walpole Library's latest exhibition has been curated by Alison FitzGerald, Associate Professor in the Department of History, Maynooth University, Ireland. Open Wednesdays 2-4:30 pm and other times by appointment. On view March 5 through August 22, 2025.

This exhibition explores the range of spectacular shows that were offered to the fee-paying public in Georgian London, from exhibitions of paintings, to scientific demonstrations, to the display of wondrous animals. The exhibition primarily focuses on images drawn from the extensive collections at the Lewis Walpole Library that announce, depict and satirize what people paid to gaze at. It will consider how derogatory ideas about spectacle were expressed in caricatures and political discourse.

Signs and Omens from the Universe

Learn how to interpret Universal signs and messages

With Naomi Kimbrough of Hellna's Pathwork

New Date and time: May 10th from 1-3pm

The universe speaks to us in many ways. Many times with signs and messages that may appear very subtle but are actually extremely significant. Learn how the universe speaks to you and the “vocabulary” (synchronous symbols, numbers, songs, animals, feathers, pennies, etc.) that is specific to you.

Learn how to ask questions and interpret these messages. We will also discuss the concept of “the universe” as an all encompassing energy, but also the individual energies that may comprise “the all”.

We will do a few methods of divination to determine what the universal energies would like you to be on the lookout for to get you started on your journey!

Charles Koppel became a Reiki Master in 2021 and has been practicing Reiki since 2011. He also leads Laughter Yoga classes for all ages and communities. Charles holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology (MSPsy), and has been an elementary school teacher for 33 years. Charles believes that laughter is the best medicine, and having worked part time as an EMT, Charles has always enjoyed helping others. He finds that his work through Laughter Yoga and Reiki provides healing benefits to both the recipient and the provider! Charles also enjoys providing a highly adaptable and inclusive wellness offering through Laughter Yoga, as it does not require any specific poses or demands on the body. There are no skills required to participate in Laughter Yoga, simply the willingness to approach the experience with a childlike playfulness. According to Kurt Vonnegut, “Laughing is good exercise. It’s like jogging on the inside.”

Who's your hero? They live and work their magic among us every day, helping make our communities stronger, kinder, and fuller. And they often go unnoticed. Wed like to recognize their contributions and thank them for their service to all of us. Share your nomination with us and let's celebrate their contributions!

Hope Emery was one of those Heroes. She made working, raising kids and volunteering look easy and fun.

Hope passed away in 2012 but her legacy lives on. This past year Services for the Elderly, which she founded in 1965, was renamed H.O.P.E. Partners of Farmington in her honor.

To further that legacy, and commemorate our 60 years of service to the community, we are hosting a fundraising dinner to celebrate the accomplishments of other Heroes who, like Hope, have dedicated their time and resources to Helping Others Prosper Everyday in Farmington/Unionville.

The Hero who receives the most nominations will be honored with a custom portrait painted by Kate Emery, a renowned local artist and Hope's daughter, serving as a reminder of the profound impact one person can have.

SPACE IS LIMITED SO PLEASE SEND THE FORM IN SOON.

Energetic Healing Workshop: Emotional Mastery of Body-Mind (EMBM)

Clear out and transform emotional clutter

with Melissa Lewis, RN BSN

-Discover simple and effective techniques to transform your strong emotions into healing energy

This workshop will review core "dissolving practice" as well as special exercises for rewiring resistance into resilience and transforming grief and sadness into joy and genuine confidence.

Spiritual Support Group

Get grounded, feed your soul, and express yourself in a safe & supportive environment

With Ryan Drodz, Reiki Master & Sound Healer

Second and Fourth Tuesdays of each month starting May 27th from 7pm-8:30pm

If you are seeking support on your spiritual path, craving authentic connection, and need a space to speak your truth, look no further! Ryan will open each group with a brief sound meditation to help participants get grounded, then share his own spiritual experiences, struggles, and self-expression practices. This group is held in an open forum style. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences, challenges, and joys with no pressure to do so. Sharing within the group is optional.

Ryan wishes to serve others walking a spiritual path after hearing similar struggles from others on their journey. Please read through the group rules before attending. These rules must be honored to provide safety, common ground, and respect for other participants.

Is this group right for you? Read the below and if you agree to the below then this may be the right group for you:

1. Spiritual Support Groups are confidential–what is shared in the group stays within the group. Do not share names, stories, and details about attendees outside of a group that could be used to identify them. This is a safe space that encourages vulnerability, authentic expression, and spiritual growth.

2. The group is held in an open forum style. If you would like to speak, limit responses to 3-5 minutes to allow everyone a chance to speak. Refrain from crosstalk and talking over others. Discrimination and rudeness will not be tolerated in this group.

3. Offering genuine support and encouragement is highly recommended! Keep in mind that each person's spiritual journey is unique. I encourage you to share your journey and refraining from offering unsolicited advice to others. We do not “should” on others within the group because this is disempowering. For example, “You should do this, say this, try this” is not allowed.

What participants should bring: An open heart, mind, and the courage to express what may be dimming your inner light.

Event Fee: $20 suggested donation.

PLEASE RSVP:  https://soundslikerad.setmore.com/book

For Questions: radliving13@gmail.com

Bio: Ryan has struggled with depression and undiagnosed chronic pain for years which led him to do much inner work. During this journey, he learned to identify ego vs soul and to trust his heart’s intuition over thoughts created by the mind. Ryan is a Reiki Master, Sound Healer, RYT-200, and eternal student.
